Current Status:

It has been almost 23 years since the government seized the Benj. Franklin Savings and Loan Association.  There followed a plaintiff verdict of $67 million. The government has moved the suit to an appeals court. To our knowledge, there has not been a date set  when a decision might be reached. Because there has been nothing to report the website will be discontinued as of April 25th, 2013.

 

If the court of appeals rules on the appeal, we will attempt to notify you via the press or reactivation of this web site.

 

Please do not contact the listed trustee of the litigation as Don Wilner has passed away. Additional comments/information requests about the case may be directed to the U.S. Court of Appeals.
